We invite early and mid-career cardiologists to the first session in ACC-MN’s Professional Development Series. This virtual event will feature an in-depth discussion between Mohamad Alkhouli, MD, FACC and Charanjit S. Rihal, MD, MBA. Submit questions in advance to





 Charanjit S. Rihal, MD, MBA is a renowned expert and pioneer in the field of structural heart disease interventions. Dr. Rihal graduated from the University of Manitoba, and completed all his postgraduate training at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minnesota where he has been on staff for 25 years. Dr. Rihal was the immediate past chair of the department of cardiovascular medicine (2010 and 2018),director of the cardiac catheterization laboratory 2003 – 2010, and is currently the chair of the personnel committee at Mayo Clinic. In these roles Dr. Rihal has had the opportunity to recruit, mentor and develop numerous cardiologists.    Mohamad Alkhouli, MD, FACC is an interventional cardiologist and a professor of medicine at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minnesota. Dr. Alkhouli graduated from Damascus University and completed his post-graduate training at Temple University, University of Rochester and Mayo Clinic. He was the director of the structural heart program at West Virginia University between 2016 and 2019 before he re-turned to Mayo Clinic.
