Midwest Cardiovascular Forum Hosts More Than 200

More than 200 cardiovascular professionals attended the Midwest Cardiovascular Forum Oct. 26-27 in Minneapolis and experienced a variety of activities including talks by an outstanding faculty team, Fellows-In-Training (FIT) Jeopardy Contest, FIT Poster Contest, Women In Cardiology networking luncheon, CV Team networking lunch, and an early morning yoga class. Educational credits were available for CME, MOC, and AANC. Planning already is underway for the 2020 Conference scheduled for October 10-11 at the Radisson Blu in downtown Minneapolis.

Dr. John Ryan, a nationally known cardiologist with the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine at the University of Utah presented on the diagnosis and management of Pulmonary Hypertension

Randy Stark (right) from Mercy Hospital received a recognition award for his service as Governor of the Minnesota Chapter of the American College of Cardiology 2016-2019. The award was presented by Steve Smalley, Health Partners, current Governor of the Minnesota ACC.
