The Minnesota Chapter of the ACC is hosting an evening networking event mixing Fellows-In-Training with practicing cardiologists to discuss careers in both academic and private practice.

Cardiology Fellows-in-Training will have the opportunity to hear from cardiologists in the Twin Cities and Rochester about their real-world experiences during the transition from training to practice.

Topics for discussion include the following:

  • How do your areas of clinical interest and expertise fit in different hospital systems?
  • What should you consider when first contacting a prospective employer?
  • How should you approach job interviews?
  • What questions can you anticipate from prospective employers?
  • How can you leverage your contacts and networks to find the right job?


6:30–7:00 pm Networking Reception (appetizers & refreshments provided)
7:00–8:00 pm Panel Discussion
8:00–8:30 pm Open Forum
8:30–9:00 pm Social Time (dessert & coffee provided)
